MEET SUSAN SIMMONS

For twenty-four years, a whistle around my neck was my whole world. Every morning at the edge of that pool, watching kids go from terrified to fearless. I never once wanted to be somewhere else.

Eleven years ago that changed. Not the passion — the direction.

I drove past a small empty boutique on my way to work. Something made me stop. I called the number that afternoon. By Friday I had signed the papers.

I had watched women my age walk past swimwear displays without stopping. Like it wasn't made for them. Like they had already been forgotten. I knew that feeling — because I felt it too every summer.

So I built something different. For us.

 Every piece chosen for one woman — the one who wants to feel like herself again at the water's edge.
